Brief

The oldest house of ovos moles in Aveiro, set across three floors: at street level, the retail space and back-of-house; on the middle floor, the museum area; on the top floor, the tasting space. The intervention respects the building's classical structure (panelled wainscoting, mouldings and cornices) and introduces a contemporary reading.

Palette and progression

Light base palette (pale pink and bege) with gold and brass accents, contrasted by the blue velvet of the banquettes.

Elements and materials

Tables with marble tops on cast-iron legs, chairs in wood and rattan, and bespoke display cabinets. On the retail floor, glass mosaic flooring with a custom pattern; on the upper floors, light wooden flooring. Brass chandeliers and wall lights; mirrors with diamond-shaped brass frames.
