Refurbishment of a historic patisserie in Aveiro. Mixed-use programme — sales counter, tasting area and back-of-house kitchen. The intervention respects the existing structure and introduces contemporary elements that engage with the brand's visual heritage.
A palette that recovers the visual language of the Portuguese patisserie tradition, articulated with brass and marble.
Elements and materials
Marble display counter. Lacquered timber shelving with integrated lighting and antiqued mirror backing. Mosaic flooring with a bespoke pattern for the brand. Brass details throughout.
