Interior design scheme for Joalharia do Carmo in Óbidos. The plan resolves into two sequential zones: a playful threshold marked by a polychrome carousel by WILL, and the commercial display and retail area. The sequence inverts the conventional jewellery-store layout — the playful register precedes the display.
A dual chromatic register: a saturated palette at the entrance set against a restrained one in the commercial area, which acts as a neutral backdrop for the pieces.
Carousel at the threshold, acting as both wayfinding device and invitation. Bespoke display millwork in lacquered MDF, with low-iron tempered glass tops.
