Redesign of the esplanade of Café d'A Brasileira do Chiado, the city's most important historic café. The project redefines the esplanade layout, designs bespoke planters, defines the furniture and integrates a curation of decorative pieces, preserving the space's identity.
Neutral base palette — anthracite of the planters and the natural light-brown of the rattan — with the green of the foliage and umbrellas as a chromatic accent, and brass as a metallic touch.
Metal planters with foliage delimiting the esplanade, tables with stone tops and brass rims, and rattan chairs. Materials selected for intense outdoor use — durability and easy maintenance.
